Linda Massa
EL Teacher, DeSoto Central Primary

This year our PTO has decided to try a new fundraiser. Starting September 8th our students will be selling Krispy Kreme Doughnut Certificates! Each certificate that your child sells can be redeemed at any Krispy Kreme location for one dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts. If your child is virtual, pickup for order forms will be September 8TH from 10am to 2pm in the front foyer. If your child is an in-person student, orders and money must be sent in your child’s folder. We will accept CASH and CHECKS (payable to DCPS PTO.) If your child is an in-person student all orders along with money must be turned into your child’s teacher no later than September 23rd. If your child is a virtual student, all forms and money must be turned into the front foyer between 10am and 2pm on September 23rd. Once order forms and money are received we will send home the certificates with your child if they are an in-person student. If your child is a virtual student we will have a pickup date for certificates scheduled toward the end of our fundraiser. We know this is an unusual year having both in person students as well as virtual. If you have any questions about this fundraiser feel free to contact the PTO via email at

Students should spend about twenty minutes a day reading to or with someone . Reading material should be easy. Please see the list of questions you can ask your child when they are reading both literary and informational text.
